One of the questions I often get asked is “do you do set plans?”
The answer to that is no and here’s why.
You see a lot of housing companies having set plans with fancy names after trees and beaches. While this is great, what I’ve found is your site will have its unique features, like the placement of driveways, protected trees, differing slopes or random sewer pipes running through it. These things can really limit your options with set plans.
Rather than forcing a set plan to work in that space. It costs about the same and only takes a little bit more time to make something that works specifically for you and your sites needs.
We work with you and the designer to identify your style, needs and budget to design the perfect home for you. Things like if you want a double garage with space for gym equipment we can incorporate it into the design. This ensures you are getting the most out of your section as well as a floor plan that suits you.
The designer, you and I will also work together to establish a budget for your home. This makes sure that the designer designs accordingly. No one wants to see a super cool design and then realise the price isn’t going to work with their budget. So by establishing a budget everyone knows we can work within that.
This individual design process is even more important if you are subdividing or getting a second dwelling on your existing section. With a custom one-off design, you can get the most value out of your section to suit it exactly to what you are trying to achieve.
Most of all, we want you to love your home. We don’t want you to have to compromise on what you want to set a plan that wasn’t made for you or your site.
