Diana wanted a home for herself and her son — something simple, smart, and achievable to get her onto the property ladder. What she built is more than a house — it’s a peaceful retreat nestled into the bush, with treehouse vibes and a cathedral ceiling that lifts the whole space.

The single-storey, two-bedroom-plus-office design makes the most of a tight, sloping site, with clean lines and thoughtful positioning. Access was no joke — trucks couldn’t reach the site, and we even paused construction mid-way to rework the orientation and better suit the gully. But the result is something special: a hidden home that feels a world away.
