This clever infill project brought two warm, timber-clad townhouses to life in the front yard of an existing home — right in the heart of town. Originally the plan was to demolish the existing house, but when the market shifted, we pivoted quickly and redesigned the development to suit.

Built on a tricky corner site, the two single-storey, two-bedroom homes make smart use of the space while keeping the street frontage elegant and tidy. The final result? A well-considered, attractive pair of homes that lift the whole street — and prove that sometimes a change in plan leads to a better outcome.
